Creative Development and Creative Exchange are rooted in the creative sector. For the past decade, we have championed the role of the creative business in society and its considerable contribution to the economy. Our projects have included assisting 40 creative businesses - an important part of tourism and retail sectors in Brighton, helping an individual curator and artist develop commercially and advising post-graduates at the University of the Arts in business development.
AUSTRALIAN ARTISTS
In conjunction with ARTISTPROFILE magazine, Creative Development is organising a collaborative exhibition involving 5 prominent Australian artists working together with 5 prominent UK based artists painting on location in Portugal. The outcome would be a lively exhibition that focuses on new interpretations of the landscape. The tour will be heavily featured and promoted in an edition of the magazine, a book and dvd would be produced, with standalone website / podcasts documenting the tour. It would all be timed with a concurrent exhibition and educational project organised by a UK based curator ARTIST PROFILE will be cover the entire trip with a photographer and writer and the project will be sponsored by a major bank and television station.
The project began in Australia last year with a group of 13 artists traveling to the outback to produce a collection of painting and drawings about the desert.
