Creative Development's mission is to animate the creative sector to help it develop and contribute to economic regeneration. Our research and our work as SFEDI assessors has revealed that the creative sector lacks access to the type of help that other businesses enjoy. To this end, we have devised Creative Exchange which provides an end-to-end advice and training package to business support agencies.

 

We have already delivered Creative Exchange for Business Links in London and the south east and for the LDA (City Growth) and six more are planned for 2010.

40 Brighton artists supported to raise their game
Over 60 people braved a wet and windy night on Wednesday 2nd December to attend an event at the Lighthouse in Kensington Street to mark the culmination of a pilot scheme to provide much-needed help to Brighton's creative industries. Many of the artists involved brought along examples of their work to demonstrate that the town is brimming with companies that are breaking new ground and bringing fresh ideas to local economy.
