Programme Management

Agencies

The way we work

We understand that criteria and targets need to be met on time and within budget. We have several highly successful projects behind us.

We have worked on a variety of programmes support businesses in innovation, the environment, technology, arts strategy, cluster building and regeneration.

Knowledge Transfer

We developed a knowledge transfer model which has been used successfully by agencies such as Business Link, Serco and the LDA producing unprecedented results.

Our approach involves tapping into existing locals networks to find sector champions who help to identify groups who need help that has otherwise evaded them. We have developed projects for women, small business networks and training programmes that people really enjoy and from which they have genuinely benefited.

We are particularly good at finding out what businesses really need as well as what they want and offering help in a way that feels right to them.

Project Management

We are aware of the need to deliver outputs in the format laid down by the funder and to ensure that every aspect of the programme's criteria has been met. In order to achieve this we have systems in place that we have developed and update to meet the requirements of individual projects.

All paperwork goes through 3 stages of checking during the intervention. QC and submission is in the control of the SFEDI assessor who submits the approved versions to the programme manager. All outputs are tracked on a database which contains contact details; assistance provided and evidence collected. The output from the database provides the statistics for the regular meetings with the programme manager.

Testimonial

Creative Development worked with Business link Sussex in late 2009 on a pilot project to deliver business support to businesses from the creative industries sector in Brighton & Hove.

At the time I had been searching for a way to work with the sector that would be both beneficial for the businesses and to provide the outputs I was seeking. Fortunately around the same time Creative Development approached me following very successful work it had done with creative industries for Business Link London and its background, experience and ideas were exactly what we needed.

By mobilising the sector group leaders and developing a needs survey for creative businesses it was able to deliver a mixed programme of seminars, workshops and 1:1 support that delivered exactly what the businesses wanted. Business Link would not have been able to achieve its initial objectives without the support and hard work of Creative Development and I look forward to further opportunities to work with the team again.
